Myth 2: Vitiligo is present at birth or caused by mixed-race parents.

Myth 3: Vitiligo is contagious.
Fact: Vitiligo is neither infectious nor spread through touch, saliva, or shared items.

Myth 4: Vitiligo is caused by karma or bad deeds.

Fact: There is no scientific evidence linking food consumption to vitiligo.

Myth 10: Vitiligo is linked to skin cancer, leprosy, or albinism.
Fact: Vitiligo is a distinct condition unrelated to these diseases. Albinism is a congenital lack of melanin, while vitiligo results from melanocyte destruction.
